Silicone straws are an awesome substitute to problems caused by single use plastic straws. These can be re-used over and over again. Being soft, they are also gentle on your teeth and on your bag when you carry them with you on outings.
The silicone material is safe to put in a dishwasher making them simple and easy to maintain without adding much extra effort towards going plastic-free.

If damaged or no longer usable the silicone straws go into general waste. The cleaning brush can be separated, the bristles go into general waste and the stainless steel goes in to you metals recycling.
