These are the latest and improved version of the telescope drinking straw.

Includes 1 x drinking straw, 1 x aluminium container and 1 x cleaning brush.

After months of tweaking the design features, our friends at Ocean Products Australia are proud to present their latest offering. Every part of these drinking straws has been considered so that you can enjoy re-using it for many years to come.

Comes with a handy little case so that you can easily take it anywhere you go.

Unlike some other telescope straws, the extendable cleaning brush included with is just a bit longer, so you can easily access it and clean the whole length of the straw.|

One thing that we found when we removed all the plastic straws from our cafe was that there were people who couldn’t use the regular stainless steel straws for medical reasons but these straws with the silicone tip turned out to be a real solution.

The Silcone Tip on these straws helps to insulate the metal from touching your lips which is handy for those who like hot drinks.

Some of our customers prefer to take a straw with their drink to reduce the potential staining effect when certain drinks come in contact with their teeth.

Dimensions:

Straw – 230mm long when extended, 100mm long when collapsed

Brush – 235mm long

Keyring container – 115mm long, 13mm diameter

Materials and Environment:
Straw is made from Stainless Steel but it also has some plastic to make the telescope slide smoothly. The brush is made from Stainless steel and it has nylon bristles. The keyring is made from aluminium.

End of life:
If damaged dispose of in your recycling bin along with other metals. The cleaning brush bristles are made from Nylon and being so small they will generally go into landfill (we haven’t found a natural material straw cleaner yet but we’re working on it). The brush can be stripped and the wire part put into your recycling bin along with other metals. Use pliers to untwist the brush and separate the steel from the nylon bristles.

It’s reusable and can last a lifetime.

Packaging:
Your order will be packaged in plastic-free, all plant-based materials. Packaging materials will depending on the size and weight of your order.

• Kraft paper bag, sealed with Kraft Tape.
• Cardboard box sealed with Kraft Tape.
• Recycled cardboard  sealed with Kraft Tape.
• Cotton bag, sewn shut (if you carefully unpick the stitching then you’ll be receiving a free re-usable cotton tote bag!).
