Great for making homebrew beers and spirits and they can also be used with to make fermented foods such as

  • Kimchi
  • Kefir
  • Kombucha
  • Sauerkraut
  • Tempeh

Fits standard airlock grommets

The second image is for reference only. It is showing how an airlock is used in the top of your fermenting jar while you're making your healthy, stomach and detox friendly fermented foods (glass jar and lids sold separately).

Materials and Environment:
Made from hand blown glass.

End of life:
If damaged, the glass can be put into your recycling bin with your other glass waste.

Whats great about this product:
Sometimes the "old ways" are the best ways. Almost every airlock is now is made with plastic. Sure it is easy, cheap and light but unfortunately we are not good at recycling it, usually it is just "down-cycled". This is just a simple old time product which can last a lifetime.

Packaging:
Your order will be packaged in plastic-free, all plant-based materials. Packaging materials will depending on the size and weight of your order.

  • Kraft paper bag, sealed with Kraft Tape.
  • Cardboard box sealed with Kraft Tape.
  • Recycled cardboard  sealed with Kraft Tape.
  • Cotton bag, sewn shut (if you carefully unpick the stitching then you'll be receiving a free re-usable cotton tote bag!).
